Torture is on in full swing in Iraq now. Haven't you read news stories about dozens of torture victims in Iraq? Happens almost everyday now.

Al-Qaeda is THE brand name now. Just slap that label on the box and you can sell any crap (to the regressives, that is).

Who knows if this particular case was not one of Sunnis holding their Shia enemies captive? Or one Sunni/Shia militia capturing folks of another Sunni/Shia militia?
