Zoellick appears to pass at least two different 'screens'. 1) (At least I HOPE this was a 'screen' they used....) He has undoubted competence in diplomacy, trade matters, and foreign relations. 2) Appears (at least...) to be one of the 'in-group' of 'true believer' comfortable with Neo-Con-ish thought processes and aims. PS --- Did 'ya notice how ex-Senator Bill Frist had a press release where he 'took himself out of the running' for this job, by saying that the 'timing wasn't right' for him to assume the position.... LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! HILARIOUS CHUTZPAH, considering that he wasn't even in the running to begin with! :-)
