LIAR! Clinton never said any such thing. Misinforming liars like Sean Hannity repeat this lie all the time. What Clinton DID say was that back before we even knew Osama was guilty of anything, but were suspicious of him, maybe he could have gotten the Saudis to take him. We didn't even know Al Qaida existed until 1996. We didn't know they were guilty until 1997. As soon as Clinton knew they were guilty he went after them hard. Bush did nothing until after 9-11, then left Afghanistan un-done and moved everything to Iraq on false pretenses, lying to the American people and playing right into Al Qaida's hands. Al Qaida has no bigger friend than Bush. The rightwing story about an offer by Yemen to Clinton to take Osama is total fabrication. Just a flat-out lie. Never happened. The day after Clinton first got real evidence Osama was behind the embassy attacks he went after him with the full force of the US covert military special ops including 150 Cruise Missiles. Bush let Osama go at Tora Bora when he had him trapped. Bush did nothing after being warned about 9-11. Bush let all the Bin Ladens out of the contry after 9-11 without interogation. Bush wanted us to hand over our ports to Dubai. Cheney's company is moving to Dubai to evade US taxes and laws. See the pattern? It's very clear. These Bushies are HUGE crooks. And they have idiots like you brainwashed into lying for them.
