Thank you for your critique. I am a relative newcomer to the Berkshire table and have never taken a detailed look at the balance sheet. Furthermore, I do not have the expertise in accounting to understand it. Therefore, I have relied upon Warren's assertion that the $80K/share was what was "owned" by shareholders and presumed that meant without offsetting debt. I will write to investor relations to ask about this point and let you know if they reply. j.
