My comments where not specific to the thread and the moderator that your referring to. My points where general principles, which I would also apply elsewhere. Specifically referring to the situation that you indirectly mention. I'd say its not "an eye for an eye", as much as a desire to shut you out. Its less judgment and punishment, than it is "I don't want to hang around with him". If you where part of some discussion group in "real life" and the guy who ran it decided he didn't want you around any more would you try to stay anyway? You probably think the moderator is being pig headed, and unreasonable. My answer is basically - So what? I've been banned from threads pertinently for rather silly reasons. If the thread moderator is unreasonable (in your opinion), there are plenty of other threads. Its not even like the thread in question is very busy. I'll probably let you get the last word. I doubt this is a matter of general interest to SI, or the readers of this thread.
