Are we being programmed; sold a "bill of goods" concerning earth changes and global warming, and if we are, who is responsible for the propaganda and what is their end game? Can it be as simple as differences between the Democratic and Republican political parties: liberals versus conservatives?

Nope; not that simple. For instance, the very conservative Roscoe Bartlett and John McCain. But then McCain went to college, right? And Bartlett has a PhD in Physiology to go with his MD.

But there are damn few brains in the Republican party.

I am an advocate and agree with Rush Limbaugh and other conservative thinkers, that global warming is caused in great part by the sun and solar flares.

Then produce a some data supporting it idiot! Saying you agree with another blabmouth does not make the cut. Scientists of course do produce graphs and models which show the components from both solar variation, and a bunch of other forcing functions.

Is there a law saying that anyone else with different views can't try to justify them? Not that I've seen.

Volcanoes, earthquakes and forest fires and gases released by all of the earth's living creatures account for the vast majority of the earth's carbon monoxide which is the primary cause of global warming.

It's unfortunate that the author of that piece makes a silly mistake like this. Gives the holy green rollers an excuse to contemptuously reject the entire article, which does contain many valid points..
