To add balance here------ see the following editorial regarding Carter's claims.

MJ's view of Carter----

Carter was a very nice Georgia Gentleman----as nice as he was, Carter's failure as President was the catalyst for the monumental grassroots movement of one of our greatest President's Ronald Reagan.

President Reagan's election was without question a response by the 'silent majority' to the failed Presidency of Carter.

Carter's small success came after his Presidency with his Habitat for Humanity-----building housing for those who could least afford them.

Former President Carter cannot rewrite the history of his four years.

Where as, our current President, George W Bush is still in the process of affecting and making history.

It is rather pathethic to read that this Georgia Gentleman feels he must defend his honor by saying he is not the worst President in our history.

It is equally pathetic that he feels he must criticize a sitting President who has led the nation through the most difficult time since the Guantanamo missile crisis and John F. Kennedy's Assassination.
