whatever brand is cheap.....and whatever the bottle tells him to take would be the dose.....

so....if a typical bottle from GNC is 100 mg....that's what he'll take.

no real mystery to him.

Also, my Granny lived to be 102 and was diagnosed diabetic at about age 50. She started taking the typical diabetic meds and did so for years. She then moved in with my Auntie Rose and took the typical diabetic stuff that's been marketed for years via GNC and other mags.....chromium picolinate was one of the 1st things used to regulate blood sugar....then cinnamon a few years ago....and now pycnoginol.....she took other stuff that I don't remember....but stopped taking regular meds nearly 40 years before her death.

My father in law will be 92 in two days and he took every prescription drug every Dr told him to take. He also smoked till he was 50 and still drinks a bottle of wine everyday ( between margaritas). He has had several major surgeries and has walked a few miles every day.

I really think the luck of the draw and genetics has more to do with survival than anything else.

Enjoy life and do what works for you. What works for one might create disaster in another.
