I wonder about that-----as I see it Americans recognize that we can not have jobs, schools and discussion about bread and butter issues if we aren't secure.

Certainly worldwide security, homeland security, illegals, head the topics of discussion in our area. Of course this is the East Coast that bore the brunt of 9/11 and other incidents.
