Still, I can remember (I think it was on The Last Mile thread around 2000/2001) where someone posted about a company that would do high-speed DSL (around 100 mbps) and we all dumped cold water on him. In that case it was justified. But as recent posts can demonstrate ( Message 23580474 ) there are some fascinating and counter-intuitive things beginning to happen at the frontiers of science. Jim
