Historically, totalitarian states tend to appear during
hyperinflation. We are just getting there, but I suspect we
will be there in a couple of years. Got 30% a day price
rises? -g- Saving is imprudent, except in foreign currencies,
but holding those could, and will be banned. Ditto holding gold. Ben
is much worse than Al, imho, in regards to his irresponsible
printing. Elimination of M3 makes pretty obvious what he and
his Fed is after.
No, he is definitely NOT Volcker. Bears should
quit hoping for a market decline - it will be maintained,
and alternative investments will be banned. Just look
at Zimbabwe for a recent example.
