For copies of current case documents:
You can obtain a copy of any filing by coming to the court's office in the Community Trust Bank Building at 100 E. Vine St. Suite 200, Lexington, KY 8:30am-4:00pm M-F EST. Copies are $.50 per page (set by law). We do not have a public copier. Copies of pleadings filed in electronic cases can be printed from our public access computers for $.10 per page.
You may also submit your request in writing, including payment of a $26.00 search fee. Specify the documents you would like to have copied, and we will send you a reply stating the amount of the copy fee dependent on the number of pages in the particular filing.
You may, under certain circumstances, be able to determine the number of pages for particular cases by calling our Intake department at (859) 233-2608, x100. You would then need to submit payment by mail or in person. Payment should be in the form of a company check, certified check, cashier's check, or money order. The court cannot accept personal checks.
