I was born on the big lake they call Gitchigumi...not all that far from Duluth.

I've seen the changes in lake level before...I remember very well as a kid in the mid 60's when a sudden lowering of the lake level ruined our favorite perch fishing spot for the summer.

People were talking gloom and doom, and some "scientist" said the earths axis might be shifting.I remember it scaring me.

It wasn't the end of the world then, and it isn't now either.

Here is a great song for you...chill out. It's going to be ok.
