In a nutshell, I believe in freedom and limited authority--and my own lifestyle is lived accordingly. But I also, very strongly, believe in helping people and providing influences and images to others that help make them stronger. I suppose it can be surmised in a song I recently wrote: When scoundrals creep into your life And you have nowhere to turn You trudge through the pain and strife You try to teach and learn Matters not what are the facts They don't care 'bout you at all They keep on beating you back But you will stand tall --Why do they do they things that they do? When they want to take What you can't or cannot give You can feel their twisted fates They just don't know how to live They are soaked in cloudy ways Nothing you can do When you see your sunshined days They won't be with you --Why did they do the things that they do? Are they victims of the rules Hard to understand This gathering of fools In their greedy plan And the fatcat lives so high You wonder why he does Keeps the poor far and wide Only 'cause because --He does do the things that they do!
