Wow, there's a slight difference between 40% and 12%, but thanks for the honest correction. Nonetheless if you only have 4 stocks in your portfolio, it seems it would B hard 2 make that mistake. I don't think taking individual stock gains & dividing by the number of stocks in your portfolio is exactly the best way to calculate overall portfolio performance either. You might need to do some more reading on that subject.

But regardless of that, feel free to post your ideas here. I have plenty of long-term and short-term investments, so I'm open 2 recs on either variety. A few of my short-term investments have even accidentally turned N2 long-term investments from time 2 time !!
