True, but only if accurate... and I don't believe it's accurate... the point here is why does a stump have to be 30 second sound bytes? This was created by the candidates themselves to fit neatly into the news reports, and it allows them to escape without having to say anything... the 30 second response is not the way it should, or has, to be... a candidate can devote a town hall meeting in various cities devoting an evening to only three important topics, and then go from town to town answering specific questions on those same three topics... why three? They could choose six... but, the point is to give a more longitudinal clarification along with voter dialogue from town to town on a select number of highly meaningful issues... the reason that would never happen is because no single candidate has the balls to put himself under that kind of scrutiny, although I'm convinced it would show the public that this candidate knows what he's talking about and not just blowing smoke up everyone's butt as they all do...
