LIAR. Plame told the truth. Wilson told the truth. That's all proven now in sworn testimony. There is no issue about this whatsoever. However, rightwing A-holes and traitors continue lying about it. Why? To try and keep the Iraq debacle going and to further destroy our military.

Plame was a NOC list covert agent, one of the top agents in the CIA on iranian WMD. Her husband is the former hero of Baghdad who got Saddam to hand over the human shield hostages. They are both American heros. very honest people. Above reproach. GHW Bush in fact not only called Wilson a great hero, but called anyone who outs a CIA agent an insidious traitor. And he's right.

But the White House was lying their heads off about WMD at the time and Wilson discovered they were full of it. SO he reported it. So Cheney especially decided to destroy him. Not by taking him on personally with any facts but by outing his CIA agent wife and destroying her career. Yes it was stupid and it was treason, but it's exactly what Cheney, Rove and the rest did, with Bush's full approval, because they have no ethics whatsoever and no real concer for our national defense.

In fact Cheney loves war. Halliburton is the biggest war profiteer in history. The more war and upheaval the better for guys like Cheney. And the more terrorism too. He loves terrorism. Just look at the results of cheney being in charge.
