I can only answer for myself, and you can only answer for yourself. Blaket statements about all "lefties" or all "righties" are often not true, they may be true for some, or many, but that isn't the same thing as all.

Both sides are more likely to give people who they largely agree with the benefit of the doubt. There also likely more likely to see massive problems or weaknesses in the other side, even when the real problems or weaknesses are only minor, or even non-existent. Thats not something particular to "righties", its human nature to be biased in that way, and "lefties" act the same way.

Another even larger difference is that most righties here don't mind at all the further concentration of economic and political power in to the hands of very few.

Moving more power to the government means you are concentrating more power in the hands of the few. Not just because those in power in the government are few compared to the population as a whole, but because special interests (of all different political persuasions, and also special interest with no particular political agenda just the desire for money for themselves) have more willingness to use their resources to effect government decisions.

Ideologically they would seemingly be very happy with economic feudalism as long as THEIR OWN TAXES WERE CUT.

Almost no one would be happy with economic feudalism. But economic feudalism isn't a serious possibility. And to the extent that moves in that direction are possible, they require the active assistance of government, not just government failing to stop it.

Any time a "suspicion of any wrongdoing" is leveled by one American against another you have the option to pursue a hearing in a court of law.

A man shall be considered innocent until proven guilty.

If you know of a better way to manage societies, I'm all ears.

The official stance seems to be that no suspicion of any wrongdoing on the part of a republican has any validity what so ever unless it has been proven in a court of law. As if the legal system in this country is the only arbiter of what is right and what is wrong.

And btw...we all hope that right will prevail over wrong.
