When my kids were young, like 3rd grade there was a lightning storm, at their ballgame, the ump stopped the game. One whacko father went nuts and dragged his kid to center field and said what's the problem. I told him to wait a sec and I would go get some golf irons he could hold in the air out there

I like watching storms too. There's nothing like a good blizzard when all the family is at home, pantry fully stocked and the fire going (I don't have a fireplace so I just smoke instead<g>). Winters are too long but I REALLY like a heavy snow storm.
