I hope you guys aren't stuck only on the old music. There is so much amazing stuff going on right now in the various threads of electronica and trip hop, and in the various strands in world music. Heck I even have plenty of great stuff by guys and gals with DJ attached to their name.

Check out Tricky, Portishead, Massive Attack, Beck, DJ Logic, DJ Spooky, Cinematic Orchestra, Zony Mash, Bill Frisell, just to name a few.

Yeah, Robert Johnson was the leader for sure. Many fo the greats will say that.

I think over the years two groups really reigned king. Pink floyd and Led Zepplen.

I think Pink floyd was sort of the end of the first generation and led zepplen was second.

Moody blues played some pretty music.

We also listened to the Kinks and yardbirds.
