I'm waiting to see what all is entailed in the 700+ page bill. I'm really very angry that the Repubs won't draw the line between ILLEGAL, and whatever nationality/color/creed someone is. It's just plain a bogus issue. We DO need to know who is coming into the US....do they have diseases? What address do they have? What ID do they have? How do we know they aren't part of AQ or any other group of murdering barbarians? I know many Mexican people, and like the ones I've met. BUT it is totally foolhardy to have people come into our borders and NOT know who they are... Penalize any employers who do hire them, and make it easy for employers to check on their history and documents.
