Its pouring....all the games are cancelled for today. The kids are bummed because they all want to play in the mud....if I'm being honest I'm kind of bummed as well. Mud games are great! None of the parents want to get their hair wet so we just couldn't possibly play in rain! Geez...

I think if I had an SUV I'd go pick all the kids up and we'd go out and have our own 5 on 5 mud game. The YMCA shouldn't cancel the games unless there's lightning. Today is a perfect day for an 8 year old to go out, play football and get muddy and then pick up all the worms on the cement and put them in their pockets....let 'em play

It's not my chest - it's my EYES! Yesterday they were almost shut from irritation. Today was the first rain we've had in over a month. Our local brushfires were only a couple hundred acres, but those big ones south of us are sending up enough smoke to block out the sun when the wind is right. They've been burning since April.
