Karl Rove borrowed from Goebbels the old concept "if the lie is big enough and gets repeated often enough it becomes "true". The big lie in this case is that we Americans have to throw out everything because we're so afraid of terrorists and know Bush-Cheney are such great counter-terrorists that we need them to save our lives. Of course that's now proven to be total poppycock. Just the opposite is true in fact. In fact, Al Qaida have never had a better friend than GW Bush. He's done almost everything exactly as they would have planned it, and urned most of the world against us. In 2003 we had Al Qaida beaten, but now they are much stronger than they were in 2002.
