"The January 1999 signal gave the market about 1000 points. The July 1999 a final upward advance into the top. History repeats?"

The market went down 11 percent in the three months after the signal. It wasn't until the subsequent 6 months that the blowoff occurred. All in all, 7 of 12 appear to be profitable in 3 and 6 month time frames.

We have weakening economy , rising commodity prices and now rising long term interest rate and summer on the top of it.
