'If you don't want to believe me and you want to live in your la-la land, then go ahead. I'm only telling you what I see.'

With all due respect you are seeing the world through the lens of Wall Street and Lizzie through her world in SV.. Remember my comment to you about how you perceived the sky was falling for you guys in 2001-2002 and yet much of the country, (unless you were in tech, airlines or on Wall Street?) hardly felt that recession at all..

I asked you for some FACTS to back up your claim that the job market is on fire. Facts please, not inflammatory, grade-school rhetoric. And not your opinion.

We need something over 150K jobs per month to keep up with population growth in the USA. We have had about 2/3 that number for a significant multi year period, based on the FACTS posted on the BLS site. Probably what you are seeing is that students have turned away from the fields you are hiring in - this has certainly happened with engineers - because this decade has offered poor employment prospects for them. Now, the remaining people graduating in Computer Science or whatever have opportunities. That does not a jobs boom make. maybe you need to take a basic statistics class.

LongIslandGuy,re:"It's now to the point where I have to start upping the $$ and incentives offered. $55k and 30-50% annual bonus out of school doesn't hack it anymore.".

Can't get HxB, or LnB for your opening?

Haven't gotten to offshore your opening, yet?

How long are you going to keep that person you are going to
hire? until the next best person you can hire much cheaper ?

Basically, the question is: Is this a handyman job
(vs. career)?

Oh, this is really a stupid question, with obvious answer.
Let's give you the 'benefit of the doubt'.

Expect more wars, for generation to coverup the sins of
Wallstreet. Historically, 'money' is the evil-root of all
ills. USA just managed/matured to become member of the human
history.
