"Without having China on board, no international climate change policy has any chance of success at all. China needs to maintain its rapid growth in order to keep a lid on the political unrest that's simmering amongst its populace. To think that they give a (wharf) rat's ass about Kyoto or AlGore's mewlings in the context of their domestic agenda is laughable. A lot more atmospheric CO2 is coming your way. Better learn to like it. And one other thing, there's going to be one helluva political backlash when Joe 6 Pack and the rest of the 1st world's residents start to really take it in the shorts as a result of greenie induced, energy starving and prosperity killing policies.
