Perhaps Rove has inside info that Al Gore is going to run and club the Reps with Dubya's 8 misguided years on climate issues, so Bush hopes to head that one off at the pass. I think you would have to first convince me that Dubya cares about the GOP colleagues on the hill. Between Iraq and amnesty it sure doesn't look to me that he cares one wit about members of party. jttmab
