Ha... not five minutes ago I was reading a book that's largely about Civil War revisionism and thinking that we should call Republicans "Confederates." The mentality is largely the same. It really is. Its rather amazing the size of the split that still remains between the two sides. It brings a whole new meaning to winning.....such as winning a war may not be what its cracked up to be esp. for the victor. While the issues have evolved and morphed, we might as well be fighting over slavery.
