You remain in denial. After the Gulf War we left it behind. That's what started Al Qaida because in their minds, this was their holy land. If you read the writings of Osama Bin Laden from the late 90's you will also see how Bush played right into his hands making Osama look like a prohet. Everything Osama falsaely claimed the US wanted to do, Bush did. That's a main reasoin why Al Qaida ia so strong under Bush, when it could have wiped out completely. Kerry for instance would have made for a much weaker Al Qaida and a much stronger, more credible US.
