Funny...but the thought just occurred to me.....why were there 10 commandments and not, say 12? It had to do with were they were "written".....if Moses had climbed a mountain in England, he would have come down with 12 commandments, but since he lived in an area occupied by the Romans who invented the decimal system, it is logical, I think, that he "came down" with 10.
