The only politician given a pass for cavorting with gay prostitutes was Barney Frank. Nobody cares what you think of Guiliani, because even if he were caught red-handed raping a child you'd give him a pass. No, Republicans discipline party members who do this - either the party or the voters turn them out. There are plenty of examples - one of them is the reason Obama got into the Senate. Meanwhile, Democrat Gary Studds really did statutorily rape an underage male page. And he kept his job for over a decade afterward till he retired as an honored Democratic statesman. Just like Ted Kennedy who drowned a young woman in a car and waited till the middle of the following day to report the incident. And he's still a "respected" Democratic Senator - respected at least by Democrats.
