Tell me you understand the economics of that 8 year period better than that. We also saw some of the worst market declines in history during his last year. Should he be credited with creating that?

Clinton was a great president. The GOP rightwing hitmen were desperate in 1997-1999. They couldn't win on any issue with Clinton so they decided to go after his sex life. They spent about 300 million doing this. That was Whitewater. The old trivial land deal was just an excuse. They wanted to smear Clinton to put Bush in office. But even that wasn't enough. They had to cheat in Florida, and lie in every single 2000 campaign pledge of Bush's.
