slo is in the center of Calif.

Calif isn't dealing with reality. They want to steal their water and energy from neighboring states. That policy is ending. AZ finally said NO!

Of all the errors Jimmy Carter committed, none has earned him more well-justified scorn than his handling of the 1970s energy crisis. True enough, he didn't cause it. But he did make it much, much worse.

It was that blow back effect into Brazil that the country engaged in Ethanol.

Why would SLO (San Luis Obispo) implode ? It is not Detroit...

If you mean taxes will go up, sure, but the weather is so good it is hard to believe.

For about 2 months in summer, run the A/C on medium for about 4 hours from 3pm until 7 pm.

For 3 months is in winter, you need a little heat - even less if you close the windows.

The weather is really nice.

Traffic isn't too heavy, and there is little pollution.

It would seem to me places that use little energy will become more valuable as energy prices rise. The boomers won't like freezing in their beds. I will gladly trade my home in Phoenix for one in SLO. No takers? Didn't think so.
