the populace is kept at tip toe. See JFK airport 'threat'. Every six months there must be a reminder to the US populace that the 'threat' is at their door steps.

JFK 'menace' timed exactly at Summer beginning when most people are taking to the air...

This is necessary. Perhaps there is a discussion to open skies, or allow foreign onwership of US airlines right now and this background scare are part of the counter argumentation. You know sublimar persuasion.

Don't you remember how the Dubai company could own US harbors? or the Chinese could own a satellite operation?

Note that JFK 'threat' is related to Caribbean. Where most Americans go on Summer? Caribbean. And the 'terrorists' where from? Yes. Caribbean.

That is good for us, since they will pack their bags and go to Brazil, where in Rio is very safe from criminality :-)
