Heard of Bali's bombing Gib? Islamic Jihad isn't just a spot of anti-American madness. They are playing for keeps. Heard of Stan Shaw? Could have been you just as well as him.

I'm not very prone to propaganda. I was one of the few who claimed that there were no significant Iraqi WMDs for example.

Try not to be a Pavlovian dog salivating at anti-American propaganda. Some people just compulsively react against anything some people say, irrespective of merit. While the USA does plenty of dopey things, not everything they do or say is dopey.

Have you fallen for the propaganda that Iran, with vast hydrocarbon reserves, needs nuclear energy? New Zealand needs nuclear energy more than they do.

Do you really think that Taiwan is part of China? I guess in that case you'd be okay with Australia invading New Zealand and militarily taking it over [not that they would want to]. Or, Britain invading New Zealand and taking it over.

In the modern world, we think of people making their own determinations about their communities on a democratic basis rather than having bulk murdering thugs being the bosses. It's a novel concept, but it generally works well [Helen Clark and acolytes being an exception].
