Let's see. The stock market crashed in October 1987.

You claim the stock market "rallied substantially" during this period "as interest rates rose" . . . yet all I see is interest rates declining during this period.

In reality, after a precipitous decline in interest rates, they recovered somewhat and the market crashed.

The actual historical results show the stock market can rally substantially while interest rates decline precipitously (not rise slowly).

But when rates start rising, the end is very near.

Many people, in addition to yourself, have a false memory of interest rates during the 1980s.
