GLENDALE, Calif. — Jamba Inc., which makes the Jamba Juice blended fruit drink, said Tuesday it signed a licensing agreement with the U.S. division of food maker Nestle S.A. to develop a line of ready-to-drink beverages under the Jamba brand.

Jamba said the products will be launched in the U.S. during the second quarter of 2008. The company said it will offer both smoothies and juices in the new line.

Financial terms were not disclosed.
