I suppose I'm doing pretty good my rookie year of tournament fishing. I'm currently 60th in region 2 and qualify for the regional championship top 400 anglers. americanbassanglers.com But, I want to go to the national championship in Florida, so I just need to place in my next tournament to be in the top 50 to qualify. I currently have 999 points and need about 1150 pts for about 40th in the standings? I also have another chance to move up by doing better in the coming divisional championships, which shouldn't be too hard to improve? I know two guys that are having a hot hand on Grand lake, atleast I did well the last time there. I think I can pickup atleast 20pts? I should be able to pickup 188-190 pts Sunday if there are enough boats competing? I can't get skunked! I'm ready to use lighter line and smaller baits deep...its a clear lake w/ small fish. 10-11lbs might win??? 200pts w/ 20 boats. It would be nice to catch Travis who is 8th w/ 1166pts. Front month now September on futures contracts. Very choppy until options expiration!
