Re Ganu ..

The Weather Channel just covered that storm on
the 9:50 "Tropical Update" .. Said it was currently
the equivalent of a CAT-4 hurricane .. Very rare for
the region .. Due to make landfall on the SE coast of
Oman late Tuesday night ..

Anyone know what oil infrastructure assets are in the
path of this storm ??

Triff ..

02:17 am - Arabian Sea Gonu Wild!!!
Just got through reading up some more on QLCS tornado events and MARCs (for all you mets and chasers out there, you would have really appreciated the line which moved through central Texas last night as wonderful case and chase studies)

Well, can you believe it? So we now have the very first ever documented Saffir-Simpson Cat4 Arabian Sea hurricane, and it doesn't look like it's stopping there tonight!
