It runs in my memory that Teck-Cominco used hovercraft to supply a gold mine in BC. I think it was called the Snip mine. Does anyone remember details ? What river did it operate on ? The Stikine ?

Yes, RDV has someone doing the engineering for the hovercraft who presumably will also build a prototype, but there is no guarantee they will be able to do the job, nor have I heard anything about them getting permitted.

There are still many hurdles to cross.
