CGPI Is up 5% today after announcing that the USPTO has informed it that its patent application covering Oracea will be issued on June 19. This patent covers the use of tetracyclines in a sub-antibiotic amount, including Oracea, specifically for the treatment of papules and pustules associated with acne and rosacea. biz.yahoo.com CGPI Has cut its losses by half in the last 2 Qs & has also had triple digit improvements on revenues for 2 consecutive Qs. ONXX has continued its UT & is due to open with an UG after reporting its 3rdQ results yesterday in which revenues from Nexavar increased 29% on a sequential basis & 130% compared with the 3rdQ in 2006. bigcharts.marketwatch.com BAY has also done OK in spite of the recent problems with its Trasylol. The stock has gone from 50 to 80 this Yr. also with the help of Nexavar.<g> Nexavar is currently approved for the treatment of advanced kidney cancer in the U.S. & Europe & was also approved last week in Europe for treatment of patients with liver cancer. ONXX has consistently trimmed its losses in the last 4Qs, closed on the black for the 3rdQ & is expected to be on the black in 2008.
