With what? His military was flipping weak. Lets be reasonable, it took the US 10 days to take over Iraq. Did I say he was going to invade the US? NO.. He ordered that the IIS arrange for Americans to be attacked using terrorism by non-Iraqi groups. He kept it covert and TOP SECRET, so as not to give a public pretext for the US to overthrow him, but, nonetheless, he was ordering attacks to take place. But until we actually overthrew his government, we had no idea that he had ordered these attacks, and possibly was involved in the events in Somalia which led to the deaths of 19 Americans. Don't lock yourself into "conventional" warfare.. Because terrorism doesn't involve the threat of invading armies. It involves asymmetric warfare, where the goal is to make your enemy feel insecure while generating publicity for your particular cause by committing dramatic acts of violent drama. Hawk
