Since Telcyta evidently does a better of killing people than killing tumors, perhaps the Telcyta program is salvageable after all.

What TELK needs to do is reposition the drug as a means of helping Medicare deal with the escalating costs of late-stage cancer treatment.

My bad..I forgot that they were still enrolling..in my mind, telcyta was dead..then yes, highly unethical...I just can't believe I was snowed by Wick/Butitta..feeling sicker!

PGS and all..I'm going to pursue this..as I digest this news, I feel impelled to ask some questions..not going to deal with Wick/Butitta..straight to the PI, first..I'll post follow-ups..morally reprehensible..

I'm hoping[believe] that word got around in GYN/Onc circles so that they didn't enroll new patients..

Given that I'm the thread founder.....

I was hot to trot with TELK. But, in 2002, I noticed that Wick was prone to skirting tough questions. At the same time, it became obvious that TRAP was not, in TELK's hands, a competitive discovery engine and that it had been hyped beyond the point where such should have been obvious, in-house. Finally, studies began to appear which made me question the basics, the GST target and its expression in various cancer isolates.

Sorry to those who were stung. I could point to additional "avoid TELK" posts. I won't.
