What sort of reasoning goes into their conclusions....what facts support their beliefs???

”Can you provide even ONE link that discusses your explanation???”

No problem…

…passed the scrutiny of your peers???

My peers? What peers? You asked for reason that supports belief and accused believers of irrationality. I have responded to your challenge, as a rational believer. Of course there is much more to it but you must engage in the process of reasoned discussion, to forward the issue. So far you have failed to deal with even the first line of commentary.

Peers? If you are to abandon all reason for the sake of loyalties to a group, if you will limit justice to further devotion of dogma, if you intend to discard conscience and compromise purpose or principle to claim your places on this Earth among fellows, let my place be a cave and let my fellows be those who join me in my separation from the likes of you all.

”I agree that faith is important to many people, and if they think it provides a moral compass that's OK with me.....I don't it's a necessary condition to have good morals, morals are simply common sense....”

Lucky us, we get your approval, however you contradict your self in the same passage. Faith is necessary for good morals, which stands to reason, at least for those willing to engage in the process of reason.

Best Regards,
Gem
