I think its just a matter of where the attorney's business address is located. This guy and the one prior both cater to wealthy clients in an area where a cheap fixer upper runs about $750K. I think their pricing is tied to the local cost of living. Ergo my interest in trying to drive down these and any future potential costs. The $50 odd bucks I have spent on a book and a CD so far is enough to convince me that I can handle most of this task myself. Time will tell. I am in no hurry at present. The complexity of current estate taxation laws is also an obstacle. Once the law has been changed, and I think Congress will attempt to do so in the near future, then we may see a sudden resurgence in activity and interest regarding Living Trusts. The boomers, I am one of them, will be driving this aspect.
