I wonder how many "conservatives" would have supported another country getting in the middle of our civil war? I posted that blog post because I was taken aback by his tone and attitude about the Civil War, and by his animosity for the north and liberals......all this in 2007. He actually believes the South was fighting for "justice and freedom" when in reality it was a bunch of slave traders and owners fighting to keep their slaves among other things. I suspect more than a few of his southern compatriots feel the same way.
