Marcos, in one of his many disguises, (here looking remarkably like a goat) sneaks up on remote locale in the mountains to observe goings on.

Yeppur that BC place is one beeg tourist attraction, ain't she. Good thing more folks don't find out about it. There are some places that are so damned unspoiled that nobody even knows that they are.

Nobody even has looked for platinum yet in the tulameen/cascades hardly. jes a couple companies. cusac is in there and someone else. used to be a mine or two way back when in there. some kind of copper vein thingie. in the structural jeeologee of canuck ore deposits. in your rare book store.
will look it up sometime.

I know a guy who sells rare geo books on the net. he might have a handbook or two you could get ahold of. von bernowitz handbook for operators of small mines etc.. you never know you might run across a nugget of pt the size of your ass, and what will you do about it if you don't know how to mine the durned thing? (every prospector should have an ass, of the travelling/loading kinds). jesus had several.
