Days like this provide good opportunities to pick up a few shares of very low floating stocks. Unfortunately it takes only a few hundred shares to change the bid and ask significantly. Makes it difficult to accumulate a meaningful portfolio. On the other hand it also makes it difficult to get out of more than a few hundred shares! I believe that low float companies sell at a discount as many potential investors are put off by lack of liquidity, but that provides a bigger payoff when the company succeeds.

Any newcomers to MFIC should compare and contrast the capitalization and potential of MFIC vs NVEC

What I liked best in the Taglich report about MFIC were the comments that "the advent of MRT could potentilly unlock uncounted drugs, vaccines and drug delivery systems that to date could not be formulated. Bruno (MFIC's President) further stated that MRT provides a critical advancement in the field of drug formulation and positions MFIC as a clear technology leader. The Company anticipateds introducing a line of equipment to facilitate the MRT process in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007."
