I will not vote for any of the republicans unless and until they change their views on iraq. For example i could vote for Hagel if he were running. I mentioned that i am a two strained guy---rfk on the social side and RR on the libertarian. You may think that an atypical position. I dont think so. What happened after RFK with well intentioned LBJ changed me. Same bull as today in guns and butter war--todays its guns and caviar. And what about LBJ admitting we had lost in vietnam when the our death count was below 10,000 if i am remmebering correctly.
James, you and I could help build that new party. I notice a bit of libertarian in you my friend. None of the three of us are who we are without that independent streak. I just found party dems too beholding to their interest groups and now republicans are exactly the same. Our system is skewed.
