That is a very interesting question. The equity draw down in Feb/March of this year yielded a partial answer to your question albeit on the negative side.

I am hopeful (since I am almost fully loaded on the PM side (GOLD & Silver), that that will be a negative correlation on the positive side for us GOLD bulls.

I agree 100% that higher interest rates will be negative for the markets.

I will always remember the 3 steps & a stumble rule re: interest rates.

In my trading thus far I have tried to capture the bear side & I am also very exposed to the PM's sector.

So yes I guess, I am holding GOLD (& Silver) in response to your question.

It seems to me that the USD has not been dropping on the same days the market has been. FWIW

I am so old that I remember back when the USD was considered a safe haven. <g>
